Kim Hunt writes from the wild coastal solitude of Aotearoa (New Zealand), the vast expanses of Australia and any big city that'll have her. Her hands are ingrained with engine oil. She makes and restores stuff. Her books always feature strong female protagonists, working-class butch heroes, fierce femmes, gender outlaws, queers and precious misfits.
